4 steps to keep your VIP group engaged

What should you do when you aren’t getting the engagement you hoped for in your customer VIP group?

You created your group, you invited people to join, and you are off to a great start. But before too long, you realize your members are quiet. Don’t panic!

I have a few tips to help you keep your group engaged.

Prompt members to share experiences

To keep your group engaged, your members need to feel like they are part of the conversation. Ask questions that spark interest. I created 55 questions to help get the ball rolling and you can download them for yourself.

And remember that you should be chiming in too! Your members want to get to know you better, so make sure you are active in the comment section.

Think outside the box

What can you share that may be unexpected by your group members, but still beneficial? One example may be sharing behind the scenes photos of how you store your product, as opposed to how you use it. Or unique ways someone might use your product that they haven’t thought about before. Get creative.

Invite guest experts

An easy way to add value is to bring other people on board to talk about their areas of expertise. Do a little research and I bet you can find an author, entrepreneur, business owner, who would be happy to share their talents with your group.

Offer giveaways, contests, promotions

Who doesn’t like to win prizes?! You don’t have to break the bank here. Just think about simple incentives that will make your members feel special.

They will also love to get first dibs on sales or promotions, which is a great way to make sure they feel like real VIPs.
