Talking about your company without sounding “salesy”

The phrase “share the opportunity” is tossed around a lot in the direct sales industry. Our goal is to tell people about our company with hopes that they will want to buy our product or join our team. But how can you “share” without seeming rehearsed or like the stereotypical used car salesman?

When I share about my company, I follow the Five Cs:

Countenance

How do you present yourself online? The image you put out to the world DOES matter.

Confidence

People are attracted to confident people who have a clear message.

Connection

The way you connect with people determines how successful you will be.

Caliber

Does your level of ability shine through? Are you proving you are the go-to expert in your field?

Consistency

This is your key to long term success and repeat customers.
