One simple tip to help with your social media engagement

Social media can often seem like an overly complicated beast. How are we supposed to keep up with the ever changing algorithms? Is anyone even seeing what I post? Sometimes the answer feels like a big fat NO.

I have one very simple tip to share that can make a difference in how far and wide your messages are spread.

Engage with others!

If you feel like your posts are only being seen by a handful of people even though you have thousands of followers, you are going to need to dig a little deeper. Start looking at the social media pages of some of those people and engage with them. Comment on the photo they shared yesterday. Participate in the poll on their Instagram story. Answer the question they asked on their Facebook page. Send someone a DM that you haven’t connected with in a while.

These simple ideas will not only show the almighty algorithm that you’ve engaged with all those people, they could also spark the interest of someone who hasn’t “seen” you online in a while and remind them to come check out what you have been posting.

If you’re having a hard time thinking about what to post on social media, I shared blog post recently that includes a FREE DOWNLOAD of 55 social media engagement questions. You will definitely want to give those a try!

I’d also love for you to take a peek at the video series I created “Mastering a Million Dollar Network Marketing Biz” where I dig much deeper into all things network marketing. You won’t be disappointed!
